Blacksburg, Virginia- July 9, 2010. High-tech engineering firm Schultz-Creehan LLC welcomes Senior Research & Development Program Director Bob Fielder to its expanding enterprise located in Blacksburg, VA. Bob will lead R&D efforts in clean and renewable energy projects, with an initial focus on wind energy. His leadership, technological, and business experiences will be beneficial in the research and development endeavors at Schultz-Creehan. Prior to working with Schultz-Creehan, Bob was Director of the Optimal Systems Group for Luna Innovations Inc., establishing a high-achieving research and development group focused in optics technology. Bob served in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Mechanical Operator. Bob’s educational background includes both a Masters of Science as well as Bachelors of Science in Materials Sciences and Engineering from Virginia Tech. Given the vast amount of experience and knowledge of materials science and engineering, Bob will be valuable addition to the team at Schultz-Creehan.
