Blacksburg, Virginia, January 4, 2008: Schultz-Creehan Holdings, Inc. announced today that CEO Nanci Hardwick received recognition from the United Way for volunteer service. The United Way of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd presented Hardwick with certificates of appreciation for service on the Resource Development Team and the United in Caring Fund Committee. “2008 will mark a decade of continuous service on our board and executive committee by Nanci,” said Kymn Davidson-Hamley, executive director of United Way of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd. “She currently serves as our Community Building Chair and has served in several leadership capacities in the past including Campaign Chair and two terms as President.”

The United Way of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd partners with over 31 local nonprofits to serve the local community. Ms. Davidson-Hamley notes “we depend on local businesses like Schultz-Creehan and volunteers like Nanci to provide the services and funding that are so critical to our community.
