Finite Element Analysis (FEA) consists of developing a three-dimensional mesh of a CAD model of a part or assembly. Mechanical and thermal boundary conditions are then applied to the mesh, and the resulting analysis can include the stresses, strains, displacements, and temperatures that result from the imposed boundary conditions. FEA will help you verify that a proposed design will be able to perform to your specifications prior to manufacturing or construction. In case of structural failure, FEA may be used to help determine the design modifications to meet the new condition.
We will utilize FEA singularly as a stand-alone effort, or as a component of a larger design project. It is used both in new product design, and existing product refinement.
